Aims and objectives

To impart scientific education and temperament among the masses. Use rationalists traditions and methods in the Developmental sector.
Taking Human Rights Education to the masses particularly the Dalits, Adivasis, women, minorities in the rural areas through Panchayati Raj and training of young trainers.
Land Literacy towards gaining land rights of the indigenous people and women.
Raising the issue of violation of human rights of the rural poor, advocacy and campaigning for their wellbeing
Sustainable development through environmental friendly and participatory approach.
Focus on right to food, natural resource management, rights of physically disabled and other marginalized through highlighting their cases in the media.
Bringing success stories of women, dalits, physically challenge people through media and documenting them.
Documentation of cases of human rights violation in India as well as other parts of the Indian subcontinent like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Srilanka and Nepal.
Making documentary films on violation of human rights, successful civil society initiatives on land rights, rights to food and other related issues.
Emowerment of women from the marginalized women, girl child through education and technical training programmes.
Providing legal aid to victims of violence on the marginalized sections of society particularly women.
Networking of the grassroot organizations working for the development of communities particularly tribals, Dalits and backward classes of the minorities.
